The Mesmerized

Okaaaaaaaaaaaay so I've been super productive this weekend. Me, Erik and Herman made a mold out of my head so that I'll have myself to sculpt on later, haha. It was super creepy, being all covered in alginate and plaster, sitting still for two hours, but it will hopefully be all worth it <3 I will post some pictures of the entire process when it's finished.





This is the final design (hopefully) of my Irikah dress. I colored it in four different ways 'cause I can't decide. I'll probably go with the purple one, because it's the less bright one, and will probably match Thane's clothing better. But we'll see!

Tomorrow I'll start sculpting, just waiting for plaster-me to dry up right now, and then (if I'm not working tomorrow) I'll spend the entire day sculpting Irikah's pretty little head on it. Then make a negative out of plaster again, and throw on some latex, and voila, done!

I'm about to blow up, I think.

E and I decided to do Thane and Irikah Krios cosplays, and I have never been so excited! Might have something to do with this slight drell-obsession that grabbed a hold of me some weeks ago, but it's still awesome.

We also had E to join us as Kolyat, which is great cause then I'll have both a husband and a son, haha <3





I'm super excited about this project, which is what I'll be working on for a while now, hopefully finished in time for WhateverCon in a month. I just need to finish drawing my dress and sewing E's leather jacket, and then of course make moulds for our heads and start sculpting. So much fun!

It was a while since I was obsessed with something to this level, and I love it. It gives me an extra layer of thoughts every time I'm bored. At work or at home, it expands my fantasy just a little, and I love it. For now, me and E also have his parents apartment for ourselves, which means LOTS of work to be done during the weekend. Looking forward to it <3

My inspiration is finally returning to me. I'm so excited about some new projects right now that I don't know how to deal with all this happiness!

Erik and me started playing Mass Effect 2, and I have to declare it my new favourite game. Mostly because me and Erik are playing it together, since our conversations makes the game about 20% cooler and more fun than ever. So we started planning some Mass Effect cosplays, and I can barely contain my excitement!





I have to chose one, though, and fight the urge to cosplay everything. I want to do Tali'zorah, Thane, Garrus, Mordin, Saren, everything. And Erik too. So this will be a fun spring, especially because of the release of Mass Effect 3, hooray!

Haven't yet decided if I want to do Mass Effect for CosplaySM, but I might. Will see how it turns out and how much time and money I'll have. Anyway I'm so glad to have my inspiration back, and to finally be back in another "phase" that I can fawn over. I left the Portal phase ages ago :(

Anypoo, I'll spend my next days planning, drawing and plotting for my new costume(s). I also have a secret project with L that I'll have to start working on soon, to be worn at UppCon!
